Our 9 week Life Lessons Learned in the Kitchen curriculum encourages our youth to recognize their value and worth in a unique and engaging approach. Statistics show that 7 in 10 girls believe that they are not good enough or don’t measure up in some way, including their looks, performance in school and relationships with friends and family members. (Source 1) Research also shows that 38% of boys in middle school and high school reported using protein supplements and nearly 6% admitted to experimenting with steroids. (Source 2) Our classes address issues like these and many others including; setting short term and long term goals, loving their differences and being prepared, all while baking in the kitchen! Scroll down to learn more about what Life Lessons Learned in the Kitchen classes have to offer.
